A Good Samaritan spotted a frightened Pittie hiding behind a dumpster in Los Angeles, California, and knew she needed help.

The concerned person immediately reached out to Hope For Paws, a rescue organization dedicated to saving animals in need.

JoAnn Wiltz and Alex Babcock, two experienced rescuers from Hope For Paws, rushed to the scene to rescue the pup.

When they arrived at the location, the scared dog was lying in front of a trash room.

As the rescuers approached, she retreated further into the shadows behind a dumpster.

The Pittie was limping and covered in scars, a heartbreaking sight for anyone who witnessed her fear and suffering.
