Enduring Freezing Temperatures
Rosabella faced a daunting challenge when she was left behind in the frigid temperatures of Minnesota.
Her former caretakers seemed indifferent to her well-being as she struggled to endure the biting cold without any protection.
Enduring prolonged exposure, Rosabella fought against freezing conditions while searching for warmth and comfort.
Thankfully, a compassionate rescuer discovered her plight and transported her to a secure environment where safety awaited at last.
Kelli Hanson, an employee at Ruff Start Rescue, shared with The Dodo that the dog weighed just 19 pounds when her ideal weight should have been around 45 pounds. It remains unclear how long this pup endured the harsh cold; however, it seems she was spotted rather soon after being abandoned.
Rosabella expressed immense gratitude for finding refuge in a warm and secure environment, far from the frigid conditions she had faced previously.
Rosabella’s Dream Home
Rescuers in Minnesota actively sought a loving family for her, ensuring she would finally experience the affection she deserves. To everyone's delight, a new home was found for her rather quickly after her rescue.
Rosabella's adoptive mother mentioned to Ruff Start Rescue that upon viewing Rosabella’s touching story on television, an urge arose to help in any way possible. Fortunately, she became one of the candidates considered for adoption.
It was encouraging to observe that Lucy, her own dog at home, enjoyed spending time with Rosabella; this connection indicated they could become great companions together.
Having endured significant physical and emotional distress after being abandoned by her previous owner, Rosabella now revels in strolls around the neighborhood, engaging in play at the park, and discovering new places.
Her adoptive mother shared that having Rosabella has been a joyful experience.
The gentle nature of this dog is remarkable given what she has faced.
Finally receiving the affection she truly needs, Rosabella is embraced by a caring family ready to treasure each moment they spend together.
