Once contained and calm under restraint, he cooperatively accompanied them back towards their vehicle and ultimately found himself in a small kennel at an animal shelter awaiting care and attention.

It is uncertain how long this unfortunate dog endured hunger while surviving alone in such isolation. The following day brought a visit to the veterinarian, where efforts were made to address his infected leg.

Although the process was challenging due to his lingering fear, support from his rescuer proved beneficial. With medical care complete and wounds treated, it became necessary for him to receive grooming and enjoy an essential bath afterward.
